Privacy Policy
Last updated 18th August 2026
This policy explains how we handle your personal information when you join the waitlist for Chat to Eve at chattoeve.com. We have written it to be as plain and honest as possible.
In short: the only personal information we collect through this website is the email address you give us when you join the waitlist, and we use it only to let you know when Chat to Eve is available and to send you related updates. We do not use cookies or tracking on this website, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
1. Who we are
This website and waitlist are operated by James Quayle Creative Limited, trading as Chat to Eve ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller responsible for your personal information.

2. What information we collect
Through this waitlist website, we collect only:
- Your email address, which you provide when you sign up to the waitlist.
We do not collect your name, payment details, or any other personal information through this website. We do not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technology on this website, so we do not collect information about how you browse the site.
3. How we use your information
We use your email address to:
- Notify you when Chat to Eve is available or opens for early access; and
- Send you occasional updates about Chat to Eve’s progress and launch.
We will only send you these emails because you asked us to by joining the waitlist and giving your consent. We will not use your email address for any other purpose without asking you first.
4. Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we rely on your consent as our lawful basis for sending you waitlist and marketing emails. You gave this consent by ticking the box when you joined the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 8), and doing so is as easy as giving it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do use a small number of trusted service providers to run the waitlist, who process your information only on our instructions:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) – our email platform, which stores the waitlist and sends the emails. Brevo is based in the European Union.
- Duda – the platform that hosts this website.
These providers act as our data processors under written terms that require them to keep your information secure and use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires us to, or to protect our legal rights.
6. Where your information is held
Your information is stored on our providers’ systems as described above. Where any provider transfers personal information outside the UK or European Economic Area, they are required to protect it using safeguards recognised under UK data protection law (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent standard contractual clauses).
7. How long we keep it
We keep your email address on the waitlist until Chat to Eve launches and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to remove it or unsubscribe – whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending you emails and remove your address from active use.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Withdraw consent at any time – use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it if it is wrong, or erase it ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to how we use it, and request its portability.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@chattoeve.com. We will respond within one month.
9. Complaints
We hope to resolve any concern you have, so please contact us first at privacy@chattoeve.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Changes to this policy
As Chat to Eve develops into a full product, we will publish a fuller privacy policy covering the app itself. We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. This version covers the waitlist website only.
11. Contact us
For any question about this policy or your information, email privacy@chattoeve.com or write to us at James Quayle Creative Limited, Innovation Centre, 99 Park Drive, Milton Park, Oxfordshire, OX14 4RY, United Kingdom.
